• Genaral review of bird strike experimental (history and technologies, why and how);
• Safety of laboratory
• Design of a flat plate, its support system, instrumentation and data acq. and processing;
• Structure stength and dynamic analysis;
• Measurement of impact load including impact stress and total force to a flat aeroplane (strain gauges) varying with time;

Numerical simulation

• General review of numerical stimulation (history and technologies) by Finite Element Analysis for bird strike;
• ABAQUS/FLUENT
• FEA Modelling of bird and aerodynamic analysis;
• Comparison with bird strike test.
